You can cover the taxi, but barely. Taxi is 250 -325 plus 75 for tolls. I'd be safe and grab a few Baht at the airport. Not too much as the exchange rate in town is MUCH better

I stayed there several years ago. Small rooms but fairly nice. . I had a window but it was frosted over so I could not see out. At that time they had a decent breakfast included in the price. I'm not sure they offer that now. Very guest friendly. The location is superb. One entrance is right at the BTS stairs. The other entrance takes you right to Bamboo massage and it is about a one minute walk to Lolitas and Kassalong. Soi 8 has some great food and nice chill bars. And you are a short walk to Nana, Soi 11, and soi cowboy

I have had decent luck in the "King's group" bars. They seem to be the only fairly legit upstairs bars. Had several drinks for me and quite a few more for the ladies. The bin was spot on. My friend and I did spend around 4000baht but that included BJs for both of us. It may have helped that my friend has 30 yeears in BKK and is fluent in Thai but according to him these are the only trustworthy ping pong shows.
