Never knew about these places. Be really interested to hear how you get on.
Be prepared for extremely close supervision. There were several suicides at Pattaya ranges a few years ago.
It will be at least 25 weeks before I am back in Bangkok but you can be sure to read about it here 😁👍

I will be back in Bangkok in February. I am going to do my best to spend less money on bar fines and lady drinks next trip 😁. I was thinking of booking a session at a gun club. Here are two examples.

I am from a country where guns are not very common. This seems like a good and fun way to get some experience. I have shot a gun (S&W 357)many many years ago and have been an archer for more that 25 years. Has anyone here ever booked a session at a gun club?

I have not even finished my Trip report for this month. I just got home a week ago. But I am already planning my next trip to Bangkok in February 2024 😁👍.
My budget is a lot lower next time around. I am looking te spend less money on lady drinks, bar fines and gifts. This time around I want to spend my money on myself and my girl.
I can only afford to bar fine my girl (Nana plaza girl) for a couple of days but I want to make those days special. I was thinking of taking her on a short flight to Phuket. Last trip I took her to Ayutthaya. Does anyone have some recommendations for a three day trip to Phuket? places to stay? places to avoid?

Hey, I stayed at Adelphi on my last trip (2018) and enjoyed it, thinking of booking it again for my upcoming trip, is the standard still the same or has it fallen? I read somewhere that they stop with breakfast?
I stayed there the first two weeks of august. At first there was a lot of construction/maintenance noise. But later in the week everything was quiet. It would have been nice if I was informed about that.
The room was good. The large window is a great plus. But there is no power next to the bed (there is one but it is under the night stand). It would have been nice to have a couple of USB charge points.
Housekeeping was excellent.
I usually skip breakfast so I can not help you there.

Looking for a hotel in Bangkok right now as well, what made you go with Adelphi?
last februari I stayed at the Citrus Suites on soi 6. It was really nice, but I understand that Adelphi is even nicer. And also pretty close tot Nana. And If you walk from Adelphi to Nana plaza you walk passed Lolitas, Kasalong and Analisa 😁👍.

definitely open 👍

Last februari I stayed at the Citrus Suites in soi 6. Nice location and the room was fine (executive suite). It should be well within your price range too.

Prices seem to be coming down.
I snatched a Premier room for a price I felt decent. Almost 50% cheaper than when I last looked.
May I ask what you paid? I booked 1 X Studio met Kingsize bed for 33000 bht for 12 nights. I have to pay before juli 30th so maybe with the exchange rates my price in euro's will come down some more. At the moment 33000bth is about €875.
YES! Just bought my Emirates ticket for Januari 2024. 3rd trip.

Since everybody is always interested in prices, I payed €955. I will have 2 hour stop in Dubai.
I heard many good things about Emirates so I thought I would give them a try.
this trip I will also go to Pattaya and Phuket. Pattaya will be solo (off course), but Phuket will be with my Nana girl. Does anybody know a nice romantic place to stay in Phuket? I have not looked into it yet. Hotel budget for Phuket is about 5000 baht per night.
I am also looking into going to a shooting range. sounds like a fun experience.
Anyway I just had to share this good news 😁.
