This is kind of like arguing about pizza. Even bad pizza is still pretty good. I would choose Bangkok or Patts over pretty much any destination and not ever feel bad about being in either one. The fact is just about anywhere in Thailand is a monger’s paradise. 

We are going to be here for probably 10 years starting in July and would like to buy a golf cart for traveling in the neighborhood. 

I don’t agree that quality is less in Patts because the consolidation of bars is so much better than Bangkok so there are way more girls in the good sois. Granted, Bangkok is amazing, but Patts has more bang for the buck in much smaller area. 

Maybe the OP has come up with a new concept hotel. Stay here and take one of our staff to bed with you. It could be popular. 

We stayed at Circle 11 for 3 months during the lockdown. A few other great features, Soi 11 dead ends into the River on the north side and is literally across the bridge from the Chinese consulate. On the Sukhumvit side, Soi 8 is across the street and Nana and Soi 7/1 are just a hop away.
