I stayed once at Hansar, but that was about 8 or 9 years ago ...

no problem bringing back girls, but imho the location is far from ideal for mongering

I think I will have to live with it, I made the reservation a few weeks back, atleast for the moment I know its guest friendly guessing thats one point.

When i checked the maps and noticed it was 2km from nana and pretty close to Patpong as well, I just thought it would be ideal 😅

No personal experience. I will say I don't consider it close to the action as there are many hotels much closer to Nana and Cowboy. I also read some reviews. They praise the size of the suites, but complain about the strength of the wi-fi, so if that's important to you, you might think about staying somewhere else.

To be honest my only concern was to identify if this is a guest friendly property. The price was super attractive to be honest, and for a longer stay having a slightly larger room just feels like a big plus

  3. For my next visit later this month, I stumbled across this hotel called the Hansar, I have never stayed here before, have always chosen hotels that are guest friendly for sure.

But for the sheer size of the rooms , and the location being close to the action. Does anyone have previous experience with the Hansar ?

Would be of great help !

  4. One indian restaurant that actually left a lasting impression on me has been Haoma, right from the ideology etc.,

    Great food.

Bawarchi is going to be part of the new AIra hotel I beleive which is set to reopen soon, another restaurant that hits the spot is the Charcoal grill at fraser which is really nice as well.

You'd think that word would spread to not wear expensive jewelry, but I guess some people won't listen anyways.

I never wear any jewelry when I'm out and about, and the only things I carry in my back pockets are condoms.

The thing with the Asian culture is that jewellery is a big part of their lives especially the women, it shows status etc., Chain snatching also happens to be a very common criminal activity especially in South east asia, since it is easy to get rid of it quickly as well.

That being said, just assume that being a foreigner in Thailand, you are a moving target haha.

been a few times with reservations precovid so there was no real wait. the food is definitely really good but the price is high. i would say that you can get similar things for a lower price but they arent quite the same. i'll probably go back at some point or another. if you havent been id recommend you swing by if you can shoulder the cost, she wont be cooking forever.

I definitely agree , I think I would go back any day especially as long as I am a tourist to BKK, and while I was there I alos noticed that they might soon have her line in the 7-11's too, which is quite cool I think.

And on point, you never know how long she's going to be cooking for .

  7. Exactly what I thought, I decided to make a reservation through their email , so this is my personal feeling.

The restaurant has become a tourist attraction of sorts and to see Jay Fai wearing those goggles and going at it , I think thats a crowd puller, I found the food really really good. It was pricy for thai standards, but I guess you are paying for the brand.

I had a date with me and at the end of it she suggested that its just for the instagram and a one time experience. And there are other restaurants that could pretty much pull off the same thing, and like you said at half price
