  1. My trip is going to end when I don't have money to spend anymore and I will try to stay more than a month and travel all around Thailand and maybe Cambodia (at least PP) so I have to cut some expenses wherever I can. In my experience the booking review system is never wrong. Ofcourse I do not expect to be in a 5* not even a 4* but it sounds like a decent and very VFM place to lay my ass and have a sleep... But you are right, I can't expect more than that... I will review as soon as I get there in mid June...

  2. Anyway, after extensive and thorough search I got myself a very nice, according to the reviews, room in a very VFM hotel for the first 4 days of my stay... Just 12€/day, which I thing is a very good deal since its right in the center of the city and very close to the action. It has 8,6 in booking and very good comments so it cant be awful.

Its called Studio F Sukhumvit and can be found in the link below...

If anyone knows it I would apreciate a feedback.

Has anyone come across ant traditional Thai medicines like herbs, spices etc that aren't found in the west but are effective at treating different conditions?

Good question... Also are there any good acupuncturists and Chinese Medicine Docs?

  4. TIP: Wherever you go Google is your friend... If you google "romantic restaurants Bangkok" or "business restaurants" or whatever it is it will make a list with various restaurants to choose... The rating and the critics will help you choose the best for you. Also check out the menus and photos... High rating and many critics is what you are looking for. A restaurant with 10 critics and a rating of 4,6 is not even close to one with rating 4,5 and 700 critics... Always check the pricing because some of them are quite expensive. This is in my oppinion the best way to choose restaurant globaly...

  5. Yes, a weekend trip to PP is actualy in my plans depeding how the whole thing goes...

But what I understood from what the person in the Thai embassy here, in my country, told me is that problems start only if one stays more than 60 days... There is not going to be any problem if I pay the 10euros fine only for one day... This is a very common thing... Actually this is what he recomended in order to avoid paying about 50 euros for the visa and save 40... Anyways I thing Im gonna stick to No2 option of extending the 30 days while I am in Thailand if I dont go to PP for the weekend.

  6. Yes, It sounds weird but according to what I've been told, I have three options.

    1) Issue a visa here before I travel

    2) Ask for 30 days extension while I am in Thailand

    3) Pay the fine of 10€ per extra day

none is wrong if I don't stay more than 60days...

  7. Hey guys,

I wanted to inform the community that because its only one day I will pay 10€ fine when I leave. There is no need to issue a visa and there is no record about it if I pay the fine. Issuing a visa will cost more than 50€. Include the photos and the effort... I spoke to someone in the Thai Embassy here about it...

  8. Hi guys,

I am traveling from Europe in June for 32 days.. I didnt know about the 30 days restriction. Should I go for a visa just for 2 days more? Actually 1 day more because the last change of the day is gonna be when i will be travelling back...
