bangkok is very safe , but as long as you stick around the tourist areas and not some unknown dodgy suburbs late at night , crime happens in bangkok just like any city in the world ,just be aware and dont wander off with anyone you dont know , by that i mean males or thai guys trying to scam you in something, if your staying in 4 star hotels all good as well...

if you follow the rules all will be ok ,

mbk has a whole floor dedicated to computer stuff....

looks awesome but i don't think i can stay in a windowless room especially worried on losing track of time, could be in there for days without releasing :P

i have stayed at the amari boulevard on soi 5 walking distance to everything.... a bit pricey though 2300b on Agoda..... not really girl friendly i had to pay off the security guard at night so i dont get charged 1000b business transaction fee...:blink:
