The slip of paper that they stamp and you keep with you until you depart....what happens if you lose it? Ive always wondered about that since the paper is quite easy to lose (not stapled on your passport or anything)

There are departure slips at the immigration, you'll have to fill it again.

Haven't tried the gel, How long is it good for?

Gel is fast acting so you take it 30-40 min before the session. It says to be good for 4-6 hours but may differ for each person.

I just picked up kamagra gel from the pharmacy near soi4 (recommended here alot). I forgot what they quoted me for the box ut they had a pack of 5 sachet for 250. Its a pack of 5 different flavors.

Read on a thai visa site that starting September 27,2016, visa on arrival fee will be increased from B1000 to B2000.

 

Does anyone experienced the current situation at VoA. I arrive 5:30am and have a connection @ 8:30am. Is it enough time to get through visa on arrival?

Not much, if from airport they charge 180 then the tour/hotel will be charging between 200-250...still cheap comparing to hotel car/taxi.

You can find lots of tour booths have the signs for mini van to airport. You simply book with them and the same company van will pick you up from your hotel. You may be paying a little more on way back since the tour booths will be adding their commission.

Yeah, she does look great! She left the bar for a Thai boy unfortunately. She even deleted her Line recently. Guess she had too many farangs on there. I look for her every time I´m in the bar, hoping for one more LT but I don´t expect to see her again.

I took this picture during my stay. As you clearly can see, it is a nice room. They have Pringles and Snickers in the minibar. And you can put your pants on the desk if you feel the need to take them off.

Plus the bags which blocks the movement of zipper, no one will attempt it as they know it can't be resealed. Safe, they open with Master code and take few 1000 and close it back, will be hard to prove that it was ever opened in your absence.

Room safe are generally safe but keep I mind that someone in hotel staff does have the master combination to open it, in case people forget their codes.For me, I keep all my valuables in my luggage and put a lock on it.

I'm also very new ,can anyone tell me a solo traveler ,what's the difference between bangkok and pataya? I'm 2 years retired and looking for a buck to go a long way.not a cheap Charlie but just trying to be smart.

In what terms are you looking to differentiate Bangkok and Pattaya?

 

In short, you'll find bars/clubs and girls at both places. Bangkok is a major city which means heavy traffic, Pattaya is like a small city feel like tourist destination, near the beach area. Both places have a lot of places to have fun at.

 

Browse this forum for info on Bangkok and browse pattaya-addicts for info on Pattaya.

 

For you, will suggest Pattaya. I have found bangkok a little expensive than Pattaya. Better suggestion will be to divide the trip 80-20 or 70-30. 80% in Pattaya and 20% Bangkok and get the feel of both places.
