Yes, they have some shops selling SIM cards, last trip on my way out I bought an Asia roaming sim card from AIS, I was also leaving quite late and they were still opened
I've never gone through immigration at DMK so not sure how bad it gets. I've flown in there on an internal flight through and the whole 'grab a ticket and wait for a cab' was a pain. So I may pre-book a taxi.
Slightly off topic but does anyone know if they have SIM cards for sale at DMK? I've never noticed before as usually get that at BKK. -
Will be around Bangkok late night on the 26th & the 27th, then have family joining so will limit the fun times

All hotel will probably be open, but I would book at least the first night, will be cheaper and you won't lose time

Visit the Erawan Museum, amazing place, ride east all the way on the Siam Line and take a taxi afterwards

I never booked airbnb, as I never found a cheaper price specially in the most known areas, and you have to pay it upfront, which I don't really like it

Always changed first a few baths at the Superrich brand at Airport Link, after at any of their branches on the BTS stations or MBK

Just booked this hotel for my October stay, not that near to the action, but had some business to do near. Apparently from what I found online it's guest friendly, looks nicely designed, new and has a sexy bathtub
Any member has stayed before?

I'm landing there 1 November, leaving a week after, planning to hit some massage places & and have some gogo

Can somebody give me a little bit of info on both hotels?
right now i don´t know which one choose.
i want to spend about 6000bhat a night.
I plan on doing a lot of shopping, visiting tourist stuff, doing a couple of nice restaurants, i´m going with my girlfriend but a friend of mine who is coming also might want to visit Soi Cowboy, nana, eden and annies.
In the Davis i looked the Diplomat Suite with jacuzzi and sauna, but i´m afraid it would be too far away from the bts, and everything in general, since i plan on doing a lot of daylight activities not just nightlife.
In the Vie hotel i looked the deluxe suite, it has the bts right at the door and the hotel looks nicer than Davis., but i´m not sure how girl friendly it is.
So if somebody could give me their point of view it would be great.
Thanks

Gaggan is leaving the restaurant in 3/4 weeks, should open a temporary one in BKK before he leaves to Fukuoka, expect to be in an hotel.
