Indeed, share a minibus to your hotel. After that I'd say rent a bike, there aren't that many Grabs around Patong. 

Levels Club & Lounge is a pretty good one if you like EDM. Its a mix of tourist and Thais. Obviously not all girls are FL's, but I'm sure you know how to spot them.
