Thanks guys, this is still all 'New" to me. I guess my "freelancer" radar is terrible because I can never recognize which one is which, and earlier there was a girl who just sent me a 🧐 smiley. So i was like "yo wtf is  🧐  🧐  🧐  🧐 " and she just replied "I'm a freelancer". 😂

    If they're under 40, 95% are, under 30, 98% are and under 25 99.9% are.

  2. I just ask if they're looking for a relationship (pass) or not and ask for their Line ID. Any girl will move to Line because there's a slim chance she's got Premium and unlimited messages. And the one per 10 minutes is tedious.

Or and give them your Line ID. If you get their ID when you message them, they don't have your ID just your display name. Tip: don't make them identical.

If your vibe is friend to hang out with or relationship you're singing to a small congregation. The former sounds like a cheapo and the latter is not going to appeal to many.

  3. Remember that both rapid transit systems stop at midnight making an awkward trip back even if it's on either but a lot of stops away.

Stay Nana or Asok area, use BTS to see the sights in the daytime and then stay where you can walk back after entertainment.

You might not find many bar girls wanting to go from their bar to KS road either

  4. If you're out at night then getting back to backpacker land will mean no public transit (0600-2400) so get a hotel near the action.

Honestly if you want to see the major tourist attractions take a day tour where the guide knows how to get there and what to show you.

  5. Uber or Bolt or any taxi will take an hour to get to Nana area. More in the never ending rush hour. Unless you're on a backpackers budget I can't think if a worse hotel area other than near the airport.

At least stay somewhere on the BTS or MRT so you can get to Sukhumvit but they have limited late hours.

Unless you’re pretty young I think hpv vaccine would be pointless. Chances are you have it already. It’s very common.

And reading part of the huge original post genital herpes isn't that common though from skimming it, it appears the OP has already caught herpes .

HPV is in about 85% of over 25's who haven't had the HPV vaccine. HPV causes genital warts. Not the same as genital herpes.

Why are you worried about the DFK?

In the context of a girl's period it's a great question. So is the question of STDs generally. Smart Thai girls go to the pharmacy and get a menstrual sponge (Western ladies might get a cervical cap, same idea).

A shower and the lights off works a treat also. Kissing with any light is fine shower or not.

  8. Radisson Blu at Suk 23 (IIRC, anyway around there) has a craft beer and cider bar on the roof with a good view, at least they did in 2019.

I am out of Radisson points now due to their split programs and the merger and all that and I am now staying at Sheraton Grande Suk, but the Blu was a good deal, had a club floor with free breakfast and cocktail hour and you can go up to the rooftop bar without staying there.

One thing I don't understand - do you need to book your incoming and departing flights before applying for your visa? What happens if your a denied a visa?

Lots of people will use a travel agent to book a ticket without paying for a day or two and then using that flight confirmation as proof of travel. Or book refundable tickets.

You are better off not boarding than being refused entry, which can be brutal.
