  1. I've stayed there three times.

Good hotel, well priced. Beds maybe a bit hard. Fiddle with air con to get it right. Excellent breakfast. OK swimming pool. Tour desk in Reception is helpful.

    Seven-11 nearby.

Outdoor massage parlour opposite, good for feet and legs after a day sight-seeing.

Up the road, several bars with girls. As I recall, 300 bar fine and 1500 for LT.

Ying and Yang 2 massage parlour, up the road and opposite. Ask for "Cartoon"; good massage and top class happy end, 500 all-up.

  2. >You can then go to the immigration office on day 28-30 and pay 1900BT for a 7 day extension. This would get you your 35 needed days without leaving or overstaying.

I wish I'd known this. A few years ago I did have a normal 30 day visa. I was having a good time - one does in LoS - so shifted the date for my return flight home; the need for visa extension did not cross my mind, brain cells sapped by booze and bonking.

At Suvarnabhumi I was fined 3000 THB cash, one thousand a day for overstay. No unpleasantness but my passport was marked in red (cannot read the Thai words).

So best to fix extension to avoid any problem.

  3. Hello men, I would like some info regarding Grand President Hotel on Soi 11.

Also is the hotel 3some friendly?

Thanks in advance for your replies

Yes. I have had 3-somes there several times, usually girls from Biergarten 5 minutes walk away.

Girls must leave ID cards with security - I tip 50-100 bahts. Security checks you are OK, "Do you need an ambulance, sir?", I was asked once after a very demanding session.

That time I got a pizza delivered to the room, just the job after Round One, while recovering for Round Two.

Maid will give you extra towels (tip).

President Palace next door offers same service. Newer but I prefer Gd President.

  4. pharmacies and pricing... but have no similar experience in Bangkok and would like some recommendations for reputable pharmacies in the Sukhimvit area, pricing and any other tips which may be helpful.

    Hawkeye

North end of Soi 4 (Nana). Turn left into Sukhumvit Road.

Walk along left side, maybe 100 metres: large pharmacy near a petrol station.

I bought my stock of Apcalis gel there, 100 bahts a sachet.

If I'd bought box of 50, it would have been 60 bahts each.

Pattaya prices are similar. Phuket is more: don't know why.
