  1. For majestic suites you check in the girl but as I said literally everyone there is doing the same so it’s no big deal.

For the Landmark you don’t though you just walk in. The concierge desk is quite a way back & to the right when you enter so you can walk straight past and go to the lifts easily. Of all the hotels I’ve stayed in I’d say the Landmark is the easiest & most hassle free for guests. Plus it’s a nice hotel with a nice pool & great location

For Landmark, Do they charge extra if the girl stays overnight?

  2. I got info from a trusted friend about market and shops resume from 16th April onwards and there may be some water gun fights on the road even during 16th and 17th as hangover of songkran.

Official holidays are till 15th April and after that it is regular affair as usual for bangkok and Pattaya.

  3. I was at skybar 2 years back. It is basically for experience rather than for drinks and food. Same beer and food will be expensive with a unique experience. Me and my friend took one crona beer each and bill was wooping 1500 Bahts. We took the beer and walked from one area to other area. Both options like sitting inside aircon area or sitting in open air are available. People with vertigo may feel little nervous here. But it is good to experience as at that time, it was tallest building in bangkok along Baiyoke.

  4. Hi Everyone,

I went across this hotel and found the online rates offered by this hotel very attractive. It is located at Soi 1 which is about 700 m from Nana plaza by crossing the road on opposite side.

Anyone who has stayed in this hotel, please share information. Their email reply says it is guest friendly without any joiner fee. But still what are the pros and cons?

    Thanks

    Kan

  5. Lohas has entry from both soi 4 and 2 , stayed many times , this used to b a great hotel , getting a bit worn is some rooms but still nice, good that washing machine in room , if you here for a few days, only thing i do not like to much is shower in the bath, as i have had a few slips in that bath nearly knock my self out .

No bother bring any one back , there used to b a night watch man on soi entry at night but he just says hello and that's it, reception don't even see u if u in building 2 ,

Forgot good pool and gym .

I am planning to book it for my coming trip in Apr. Nice to know that it has entry from soi 4, but i could not find a walk way on google map. Is this walk way pass through some private property or a general walk way???

  6. Do you recall which room you were in? I'm booked there with a non-refundable reservation in March and want to make sure I can get a room closer to where I'll still have internet access.

Also, some of the videos I've seen in YouTube show an Ibis golf cart with guests in it. Do they offer rides from the hotel up to Sukhumvit?

Yes they offer free ride to nearby bts nana and other places.

  7. Don't know about Kingston, only that it's on soi 15 LHS from Suk Rd just past the Dream Hotel

Solitaire, I was there May 2018 and it's very nice, I think it was actually President Solitaire previously and has been fully renovated, I had the club room, very good but not worth paying for club amenities because very little food was available and limited choice of drinks. Breakfast was good.

Location, not actually on soi 11 but soi 13 about 100 metres from Insanity club on soi 11. Guest friendly indeed, well at least for one girl, I never took more than one back at a time.

Sorry I'm wrong, wasn't President Solitaire previously because that's now Mercure soi 11

It was certainly some President or other

    Thanks Slalom

  8. I had a recent visit to bkk in 3rd week of August. While searching for the suitable place, I came across this hotel as it was offering a cosy room @1500baht and rooms looked quite decent and well maintained. I booked it for 3 Nights as it was stone throwaway distance from Insanity night club, walkable distance from shock 39 nightclub. Of course soi11 is around the nearby area which has many places for having drinks at leisure.

OK back to hotel. Check-in process was smooth and efficient and took only 5 minutes. Internet connectivity was super fast. Password is available in each room written on a label near the working desk. I have seen some muslim families with their kids. This may be due to its vicinity to soi 3 which is known as Arabic street. Anyways, I took the room key, and took the elevator to 8th floor. I entered in the room. Room was Nice but little small but still very well maintained with a cosy bed, chair, nice bathroom, minibar etc. City View from the hotel was also nice which was a plus as it looked really beautiful in night time. One of my lady guest appreciated it very much. Toiletries are provided and they make sure that your room is cleared during the time you take your breakfast in the morning which is what I liked very much.

    Complimentary Breakfast:

    5.30am to 10.30am

After a sound sleep in noise-free room, I got up around 9am and went for breakfast which is available at restaurant called MUNCH near lobby area. Good selection of American, English and Asian breakfast. I ate to my capacity as I was feeling very hungry. The staff is very attentive and respond immediately to your requirements with a big smile. There are two areas for breakfast. If you prefer to sit in open air area with a fan only, that is also a possibility here. Overall this is value for money. For ~1500baht, you get a Nice and quite location, good clean room with comfortable bed and nice bathroom.

I will book this hotel again during my next trip.

  9. Thanks shaksey ! This is very useful information.

It's a bit of a Star Wars bar. The only late night FL club left now I think. The crowd seemed a bit more errr diverse than usual when I was there earlier this year. Get a cab don't walk there or back at the sort of times you'll be going/leaving there. I would advise going in, getting a drink, finding a girl and Foxtrot Oscaring it back to your hotel or a short time room straight away. I'd lean towards a short time room tbh.

Any girl who looks at you and doesn't instantly look away is a FL who is interested. Say hello. Ask if they're here for fun or if they're working or words to that effect. Do whatever 2 min interview you have or like to use with girls. Prices are all over the place I find, the black girls are cheapest and the fake Russians the dearest. Opening offers for LT will likely be 3000-6000. Knock 1000 off whatever they open with straight away. Pay whatever you're comfortable and happy with, their is no "right" price imo.

  10. Hi,

I'm staying on Bangkok only a couple of days so I wanted to visit Soi Cowbay and Nana Plaza. Just curious if there any nice hotel that I should look at. I would like to explore beer bars/massage places/and some discos.

Any hotels that will put me in between Nana Plaza or Soi Cowboy or should I just maybe see one place <_>

Oh and the hotel should be GF.

Park Plaza at soi 16 is a good option...guest friendly

  11. This hotel has a great location, I have stayed here 3 times in the last couple of years. On the ground floor there is a nice bar with a couple of pool tables. Drinks a little expensive. Across the road there are a few beer bars, Nice cold beers and friendly chatty ladies. A few hundred metres up Soi 22 you will find Queens Plaza - Lots of bars to drink and play pool. Queens Plaza is a bit run down - but still OK for a bit of fun. About 10 minute walk along Sulhumvit and over the road you’ll find Soi Cowboy. Terminal 21 is also close for lots of shopping. The hotel itself is quite modern-although the rooms seem cheaply furnished - but comfortable enough. Breakfast buffet is good. Nice pool area. Indian themed restaurant on top floor which I didn’t try. Hotel is guest friendly with no joiner fee,

One of the best as the staff is super friendly, it is girl friendly as they make a call from reception on arrival of the guest to take your approval before allowing the guest to go to your room. It's vicinity to small bars on the other side of road make it super convenient.
