Best hotel is Grand Sukhumvit Hotel. I stayed there many times on business well before I ever went to Thailand to Monger and the bar on the bottom floor has the best looking freelancers in all of Bangkok. Are they crazy yes! but fucking hot too. also elvevator goes from cocktail bar and skips reception straight to room. expect to pay over $200USD per night.

Which Grand Sukhumvit Hotel are you referring to? I tried searching for it and there are a few that concatenate that phrase to their name (Shraton, Westin, etc'). Thanks

Rooms look great, really good rates, and an ok location. They get raving reviews on trip advisor and booking.com. Did anyone stay here? Is it girl friendly? Joiner for a 2nd girl? Any other tips?

They have a stay 3 nights pay for 2 promotion atm! From all the other high-end hotels in the area it seems that they are the only place that is adjusting to the current downturn in tourism (low numbers reported for Q12014).

Thanks for the pointer. I couldn't find much either. I'm surprised there so little choice for reasonably priced daily rates. I usually spend under a week in town and the place I stay in doesn't have a gym. If at some point I do find one I'll post it here.

Anyone know of a gym that offers a reasonable daily rate around Nana?
