Had hoped to be there in Feb but change of plans now and March 21st looks most likely. For the weekend then to Manila and burgos street then possibly to Zamboanga ( anyone been there)? back to thailand and Pattaya then maybe a day or two in BK at the end. This time i'm trying out the beer garden for the first time and probably on the first night. Will stay in the best value hotel in Bkk - Aloft bangkok on soi 11

Stayed 1 night. Standard of hotels in Bangkok very good. Although this hotel is Ok it was actually the worst hotel i stayed in in my visit to philippines / thailand. I stayed Aloft Bangkok this time on Soi 11 which is vastly superior. Bayleaf and G hotel by Waterfront in Manila but have stayed in 7 or 8 hotels in bangkok over the years and this was a disappointment
