Finally got my tickets and will leave for Bangkok on Mar 28. Not looking forward to the flight because it includes a stopover in HK but it was nearly 50% cheaper than the direct option.

I expect to stay the first week or so to be in Bangkok before I head off north for the regular sight seeing and lazy vacation. Overall vacation is for about 4 weeks and I may end up going to Laos & Cambodia as well, though have kept that part flexible and will book tickets once I am actually in Thailand.

Ha! I was supposed to be there around Songkran but now my client has changed the dates and I'll likely be there before that. Still awaiting tickets though.
