Miami hotel no problems bringing guests. I like the swimming pool rooms . I stayed last may and booked again for new years. The Seven eleven next door is a plus too

Tower three is eleven hotel now . In januari they where driving machines inside tower 1 and two . I booked but got an email  to change to Kingston suites . Shame if Grand President is gone loved tower two suites

Mercure and eleven hotel soi 11 have nice pools with enough sun

No I don't think so . In the hotel they said have to wait for test but I replied I just came from bkk and did all the tests and everything was ok. I be here longer then 7 days so don't know more 

I just flew to Phuket and they did ask for my vaccination proof I showed them my EU qr code from my phone and ok

I do same because I hate have the wait for my suitcase . Airplane to Sukhumvit usually within an hour.Never been scammed in all my years of travel to Thailand. Just behave and everything will be ok 

I am vaguely aware of some law that hotels need to register foreign guests....

Every time you check into a hotel, they ask for your passport and take down the information of all registered guests, apparently have to send it somewhere. I remember the owner at a small hotel up in an Isaan village explaining to me when asking for my passport...

But, I can't really imagine this is closely enforced, if only because of the number of tourists. Although, I'm not sure why whoever's renting the airbnb would be unable to send this in to be compliant...
