It's not outdated at all. Good rooms, great service. Never visited their gym tho.
You can also stay at Majestic Suites and use the gym at Majestic Grande. You'll have to ask for a voucher at the reception.
Would you say the rooms are better than majestic? I stayed at majestic on my first trip and had no idea that I could use majestic grandes gym!! Too busy mongering Haha!

I've always thought of Majestic Grande being quite outdated, not sure why.. How's your experience with them been?

Hey lev, as it stands, it's around £350 (6 nights). However, since I'm not sure if that budget is enough, I'm always happy to increase that. I'm looking for a luxury place but has no issues with bringing girls back. Last time I stayed at majestic near NEP.

Hey,
Could anyone recommend a guest friendly hotel near NEP that has a gym/fitness centre included?
Thanks in advance.

Hey,
Does anyone know where I can buy green tea? Want to thank either back with me to London. I leave on Sunday.
Thanks in advance.

How long is the journey from sukhumvit to patts?
-
I assume you mean crossing sukhumvit road. You can cross on several bridges, there's usually one every few hundred meters and you can cross at the bts station also.
There's a fence separating the 2 sides and signs saying jaywalking has a 200b fine.
Thanks for the info skepti10, yeah meant Sukhumvit road

Hi,
I've been looking at some Street views on Google around BTs nana and notice there aren't many crossing points to get from one side to the other. Saw an over bridge which allows you to cross.
Are you allowed to cross anywhere or only at certain places like the bridge?

It's been six months since I've been in Bkk but as I remember, the Rabbit card is only good for the BTS. In my opinion, it's a good idea. Day passes are too expensive and having exact change to buy individual tokens is a major hassle. If you are planning to be there for more than a few days, I recommend buying a rabbit card. As I return at least once a year, I keep the card and bring it back to use the next time.
You can buy the equivalent for the MRT but you will likely use it less.
Thanks for the info house516. I'm in BKK for 3 nights and will be using the BTS and MRT to get around. You're right, buying individual tickets are a hassle but will probably buy day passes.

Hi,
I was wondering, if I buy a day pass for the BTs, does that also allow me to the ride subway?
If so how much does it cost for a day pass?
Thanks.
