Great pic of the pills ... you will notice it says store below 30c.  Now that just does not happen for 10 months of the year.  I wonder how quickly the drug looses its potency?

I walked into this hotel a month ago to check it out.  The street was fine to walk down.  The hotel looked fine in the lobby.  Interesting that the walk in rate was way higher then if you use the internet booking agencies.  I thought that it would be a good place to stay based on the look of the lobby and the closeness to the Beer Garden.

Checked out the booking agency ... Sawadee.com which I have used many times.   The pics looked great, but one never knows, I always check the travel reviews.   The reviews were all from years ago which left me with an uneasy feeling.

Just to update.  Now Boss has free internet.  I write this from my room and later today, I will go down to the pool and use my laptop there.  Maybe even sit in the upstairs lobby and have a beer watching the massage girls come to the desk.  While using my free internet, i can watch there facial expressions to see if they were lucky enough to get a big baht bonus for a happy ending.  Some to the girls are quite greedy and want to squeeze every last drop out of you.     :)

I am staying at the Boss Suites at the bottom of Nana.  Really nice place, GF no problem.  While staying here I have walked around and asked rates at various places and really am amazed that the walk in rate is so much higher than the internet service rate.  When you consider they have to pay the on-line service a commission which is 10%, why would they need to charge a walk in so much more.  And they get the cash in hand instead of having to wait for the monthly settlement.  Just typical Thai thought patterns.

The only place that has acted with any smarts so far for me is Boss.  I booked them on line but decided to extend my stay and asked at the front desk.  They quoted me a higher price.  I said but I just checked on line and can get it for the lower price and you will have to pay them the commission on top of it.  The lady smiled and said ok .... and gave me the same on line price.  Yeah .... 1 enlightened Thai.  I was surprised she did not reduce the price as she did not have to pay commission or at least split the difference with me.   But hey, I got the on line price ... so was happy.

You were wise to just pay the bill and move on to enjoy something else as I have never heard of a good or satisfying ending to this type of tale.  They even have the authorities backing them.  Hard to believe it goes on as this can do nothing but hurt the industry.
