I was booked at Dawin but changed my mind to the Grand Swiss. Mainly because it's about halfway between Soi Cowboy & Nana. I would be interested in other peoples opinon on it aswell.

Cheers thanks for the help. Looks like I picked the right one. In saying that I always seem to change my mind when it comes to hotels. So stay tuned it's going to change.

Hey All
As I have previously mentioned I staying at the Dawin thinking about changing to Mac Suites. Any thoughts on either one?

Pretty sure I walked past one going into Soi Cowboy. The end where Country road is. Saying that I had one or two wine spritzers by that stage. So I could be mistaken :)

I too will be there for New Years, cant wait!!!
So will I :) Only 7 weeks between trips :)

Grande centre point Terminal 21 hotel. 4500baht for a room. Connected to Asoke BTS and right across from Cowboy. Good hotel.
That is where I'm spending my first 3 nights when I get in on the 24th Oct. I lashed out & got a Grande Suite for a little over $200 AUD a night.

Try the market next to On Nut BTS station. You will save more than the price of the ticket from Asoke in the price of the food and beer. It is normally packed with locals and I think a few freelancers are about
Have to agree........ Had a feed there last time I was in town great value. I'm not sure about freelancers as I had a "interpreter" along with me at the time.

Since all the cool kids are doing it............. From the land of Aus!!! will be around until the 9th. I get in on the 24 Oct :)
-
As always great pics you have a great eye mate... I might have a wander over to Patpong when I'm back in October.

Would like some feedback on this hotel please.
Also thinking of going to Pattaya for a few days ( first time :D ) dont really have a clue where to stay. I dont know if this helps I prefer beer bars to the go go bars,

After a lot of debating with myself ( yes I said debate) I finally booked here. Not the cheapest but looks like it is in a good location. Plus it has every I look for in a hotel.

Hey All,
I haven't been to BKK since December 2014 I was a semi regular at Onnut beer garden. I really enjoyed the cheap food & beer before heading out. Since that has been levelled has anything similar opened up?
