Taxi or Uber for travel around Bangkok?

That's terrifying!! Only public transit could have saved you... so much for urban planning

Go stand on Sukhumvit, around Soi 2 or so, 5:00 pm, and find a taxi going toward the city center, and ask to go to Terminal 21....

It's about a mile in the other direction walking?

And by car, it'll be about a 5 mile, at least, maybe 10 or 12 mile ride, probably taking over an hour or so....

Of course, you could've crossed the street first, but that would've taken ALL the fun out of it....

You can also try Bolt, which is a newer app / service that is sometimes cheaper than Grab.

The most pain free way of getting to the airport from the lower Suk area is to just get a taxi or motosai to Makkasan station (next to MRT Petchburi station) and then take the airport link train.  Guaranteed no traffic, unexpected delays or tolls, air con, and it only costs about 35 baht.

Thanks, will try this on next visit
