in Pattaya several bars run social golf outings

just wondering if there are anything similar in bkk

I know this is an old post but there are two well known groups, the Londoners, and the Wanderers. Both are very friendly and open groups as long as you know the rules of the game. They also get pretty good deals on green fees at the courses they hold events at.
