ianjamesmax
I've used a couple of the Fasttrack companies before, and have often thought that all I need is the Fasttrack coupon/voucher.I know where immigration is,I know where the baggage carousel is,I know where the taxi stand is..... So,I went online and did a bit of a search and found a guy who is selling them online. 400baht for one coupon, plus 100baht for registered postage with tracking number(100baht for any quantity).Pay by PayPal or Credit card.Mine came through after 5 days. http://fasttrackcoup...category-0.html There's even a map on the back showing where the fasttrack lane is. The great thing about this is that after getting off the plane and arriving at immigration, you can have a peak at the immigration lines. If they're busy you can go to the fasttrack lane and use your coupon,or if the lines at normal immigration are short, you can just go through and save your coupon for the next time(win win situation). Here's a photo of the one I received:
The Sperminator
I use a different company VIP meet and greet plus fast tack is 700 baht, they are good meet you straight off the plane.escort you through fast track. I book VIP meet and greet plus limo to Sukhumvit for 1500 baht. What i like about the company i use is you can pay for the service on arrival with cash. ianjamesmax
I'd advise getting two vouchers for 900 baht(400baht each+100baht postage) those plus your taxi each way from the taxi stand/your hotel, will be the same price as only a one trip with VIP meet and limo one way. smooth in ,smooth out. ianjamesmax
I think I might need next time. I land in Bkk at 0700 and I have an internal flight to catch from Bkk to Phuket. Can these guys get me through immigration so that I can check in for my next flight? Kop :) If you are leaving from Suvarnabhumi you won't need it.(Unless your flights from Don Muaeng). You DON'T have to pick up your baggage go through the main immigration ,go up to departure level and check-in for your Phuket flight You will just do an international to domestic transfer.Depending on your airline, you should be able to get all your boarding passes(including the one to Phuket) when you check in at the beginning of your journey. If the airline you're flying with can't give you your BKK-Phuket boarding pass, they will be able to to have your baggage ticketed/sent all the way through to Phuket. All you have to then is to,after disembarking the plane at BKK, go straight along the arrivals concourse to the International to domestic transfer area, and get a boarding pass from one of the transfer desks there. http://suvarnabhumiairport.com/en/224-from-international-to-domestic No need to go through the main immigration area. All depends on which airline you're flying with,as to whether or nor not you can get all your boarding passes,or if you just have to pick up one for your BKK-HKT at the transfer desk. How much time do you have between the flights, and which airlines are you flying with? Edited May 10, 2014 by ianjamesmax
kopite
Interesting I wasn't aware such a service was offered. So I am flying from London to Bangkok with Qatar Airways and am scheduled to land in BKK at 0700. I then need to catch a Bangkok Airways flight from BKK to Phuket at 1000. So you think when I check in at London they can get my baggage sent all the way to Phuket?
ianjamesmax
Qatar Airways will send your luggage all the way to Phuket AND will issue you with a boarding pass for the BKK-Phuket flight. http://www.bangkokair.com/eng/pages/view/check-in-through You just need to walk to the domestic transfer immigration counter(Follow the signs) go through a customs check, then go to the Bangkok Airways lounge(They have one for economy passengers) soft drinks, snacks, and free wi-fi,and wait for your flight. With a 3 hour wait between flights, you've got stacks of time.

It's good to have ,especially if your dashing to get to the "Action".Or even for the return journey so your not lining up for ages at immigration for your flight home :(
kopite
I think with the new fingerprint scanners coming into place I will have to take up a fast track option.
