Yeah it's one of my favorites and I get it all the time, I don't think I've had a bad pad see ew in Bangkok, at any place that didn't look touristy.

Any Thai noodle shop, the cheaper the better.

Mark Wiens reviewed it many years ago, and while it's not super close any public transit, I think it's worth the effort to visit if you really like pad see ew. They use these lightly crispy noodles (see the Google Maps photos), almost the texture of wontons, instead of the wide flat noodles you're used to.

Not my favourite dish, to say the least, so I can't be of any help here, lol.
