How to go directly to the first unread message in a thread?

Hi there,

I am a (trusted) member in the pattaya-addicts forum and I want to get the same in this bangkok-addicts forum here now within the next weeks/months.
As everyyone can see, the two forums are built upon the same forum software.
But I see a difference in behaviour: While reading threads in pattaya-addicts, whenever I click a thread I already read in before, the link brings me directly to the first unread post for me in this thread. The behaviour is completely opposite here in the bangkok-addicts forum. Every thread I click (which has new posts, what I can be seen through the used bold font) will open on page 1 again and I have to look where on the following pages is my first unread post.
I tried to look into setting already, but I can find nothing.
What I'm doing wrong?

Click on the menu button at the top right>account>account settings>settings area drop down>content view behaviour. Option in there.
