Zyn User Posted March 23, 2025 Posted March 23, 2025 Looking for suggestions on a place in Bangkok to have a few drinks in the morning during the prohibited hours. Just arrived yesterday, haven't adjusted to the time change yet.

NanAtSOL Posted March 25, 2025 Posted March 25, 2025 (edited) The Tavern on Soi 4 is open early and a good place for a conversation. Edited March 25, 2025 by NanAtSOL
NanAtSOL Posted March 25, 2025 Posted March 25, 2025 I have had a few 8am beers at Fitzgeralds on Soi 4 over the years. There's Bus Stop, too, and Chequers.

When/why did it close? They had a really strong regular customer base. Great place for a good conversation with regulars, especially with some old Vietnam War veterans. Snus/Nicotine pouches are pretty popular now. Most bars will have a sign that they sell snus on sukhumvit. I bought a tin of Velos from Snus Source Soi 6 and they had a pretty large selection. I only bought Velo because they didn't have Zyns but on their website they have it in-stock now. 1
