Jetlagged and off schedule, looking for a morning drinking spot

Looking for suggestions on a place in Bangkok to have a few drinks in the morning during the prohibited hours. Just arrived yesterday, haven't adjusted to the time change yet.

Game bar righting underneath Nana BTS opens at 8am. Great spot to sit on the balcony and watch the world go by. Margarita Storm at the top of Soi 13 is 24hrs.

The Tavern on Soi 4 is open early and a good place for a conversation.

I have had a few 8am beers at Fitzgeralds on Soi 4 over the years.

There's Bus Stop, too, and Chequers.

I believe it will reopen in a few months under a similar format though.

Seriously? When/why did it close?

They had a really strong regular customer base.

Great place for a good conversation with regulars, especially with some old Vietnam War veterans.

Just a couple of weeks ago. As I said, fear not, it will reopen soon apparently.

Snus/Nicotine pouches are pretty popular now. Most bars will have a sign that they sell snus on sukhumvit. I bought a tin of Velos from Snus Source Soi 6 and they had a pretty large selection. I only bought Velo because they didn't have Zyns but on their website they have it in-stock now.
