uglylonelyloser Posted January 1 Posted January 1 Any regular visitors make an effort to learn some Thai? What program did you use and did you find it worth the time? E.g. improve trip experience, interactions with the ladies.
bb32 Posted January 2 Posted January 2 100% worth the effort, helps to get around off the tourist track and break the ice with girls. I cant have a proper conversation, but I can have a good laugh with maybe 100 words and can count etc. I just learnt from apps/ translation tools, tried books but too boring. And girls 😂 would just pick what words in english I say regularly and look those words up: ordering a coffee, directions, nice smile etc and build on that. Got a girl in bed, run through and try learn all the body parts in Thai its fun for both 2

Sabooboo Posted January 22 Posted January 22 This totally depends on your personality. If you enjoy the learning part it will be a big help and can be fun. If you're struggling and hate studying then just learn a handful of words and phrases and be done with it. Just don't get stuck in no man's land where you don't know or are struggling with the Thai phrase so you say nothing.

uglylonelyloser Posted January 25 Author Posted January 25 Anyone have any good Thai pick-up lines or ice breakers?
ricktoronto Posted January 26 Posted January 26 If you're talking about bar girls or freelance girls just be pleasant and assume their English will be limited and subtlety and what you think is humourous will not be well understood. It's the same amount of snappy patter and witty chat you need when you're buying shoes or ordering a meal. It's a commercial transaction mostly.

The most useful Thai phrase, in my opinion is "mai ao". Speaking of which, if you're getting a blowjob and the girl is using too much teeth or squeezing your balls too hard then definitely down't say "ow ow ow". I learned that the hard way.
