Bangkok - Bound Posted December 12, 2024 Posted December 12, 2024 Has the new Thailand Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) been postponed? I am traveling to Thailand in 30 days and cannot find the application online.
ricktoronto Posted December 13, 2024 Posted December 13, 2024 June 2025 which in dog years e.g. Thai implementation efficiency, is March 2026.
vnoluck Posted December 13, 2024 Posted December 13, 2024 Here a link that I found regarding ETA. I highly doubt they will be ready or require you at the moment. https://www.thaiembassy.com/travel-to-thailand/new-travel-requirement-for-visitors-to-thailand-coming-in-2025
JVHyatt Posted December 13, 2024 Posted December 13, 2024 Just read that not only will UK be requiring ETA, even for Americans, come Jan 2025, but they’ll also be charging like $15 per submission. Crossing that shithole off my travel list.

Crossing that shithole off my travel list. Don't go to Bali then, it'll cost you IDR500,000 VOA plus IDR150,000 tourist tax to get past immigration which is approximately US$40. Oh, and if you leave the Balinese mainland to do a day trip to Lombok, you'll have to pay the IDR150,000 tourist tax when you return as it's "per landfall", not "per visit"
