I'll be taking the bus from Pattaya to Bangkok and this line stops at Morchit 2 and Ekamai stations in Bangkok.  I'll be staying at the Ruamchitt Hotel above Thermae Cafe for my stay in Bangkok so wondering which of these two bus stations would be better to go to from Pattaya.  I will either get a Grab/Bolt from the better station or if convenient, take the Metro or Skytrain if they are close by.  I will have some luggage but it will be late morning - midday hours I'll be transiting.

Take the bus to Ekkami, 131 baht, then walk 1 minute to the BTS and take 3 stops to Asoke (30 baht) and walk 10 minutes to Ruamchitt Hotel.  If you have a lot of luggage, taxi from Ekkami to the Ruamchitt is about 80 baht.

Thanks guys - Ekkamai it is.  I'll have only a backpack (which can also be wheeled) and a carry on so I should be okay to walk it from the Asok BTS station

If the schedule works better any airport bus is an option because you're 33 km away from Ekkamai and the airtrain is a great way to get to the BTS. It ends at PhyaThai Station and you hop on the BTS at N2 and ride without transfer to Nana or Asok. Just an in station walk and escalators from train to BTS.

Any route which avoids roads into Bangkok is a good route.
