ricktoronto Posted October 14, 2024 Posted October 14, 2024 I have one for sale for 38,000,000,000 Baht. It is 3 sq metres. It looks suspiciously like a shed from Home Depot. It has wheels. I figured any price or size is ok because the original post has no information to go on.

It's a really cool space with a lot of potential. Some better promotion and hotter girls and I think you could do really well as a high end cocktail place (I'm thinking like beer bar model, but much higher end). I think they've been having a hard time though. My waitress told me that they recently fired and replaced the manager.

I thought it was ‘owned’ by the Havana Social group of bar/restaurants but I must be mistaken not like them to fuck up the marketing at a place they own. You could tell it was in trouble the open air dive bar down the end of that sub soi is busier than that place ever was.

Yeah there are definitely some tweaks that could be made, but I see tremendous potential there. Its a nice high end space with great drinks. If it wasn't for the foreign ownership rules in Thailand I would consider buying it myself and making a go of it.
Steve Jones Posted October 19, 2024 Posted October 19, 2024 Someone told me a long time ago that the best way make $1,000,000 in the Thai bar business was to start with $2,000,000 and sell before you lose it all. Not sure if that's true, but best of luck.
