Where to stay to avoid the open-air bars with rock bands playing until 4am?

Every time I've visited Pattaya, the hotels I stay at are bombarded with loud rock music bands playing until 4am. 

I dont wanna stay far from the action, like in Jomtien, but looking for advice on a hotel where I can sleep at a reasonable time. There seems to be nowhere near WS, LK, Treetown, or Beach Rd that is immune to this problem. I've stayed at Bayview and Intimate Hotel, but could not sleep.

What about Amari Hotel?  Anyone stayed there?  It seems to be close enough to the action, and convenient baht busses, and maybe quiet at night??

First of all, you'll get better responses to a question like this over on Pattaya Addicts.

I don't think the Amari is close to the action at all. Maybe if you do most of your partying on Soi 6, but otherwise no.
