The Landmark hotel refurbishment

I know that the Landmark is having work done on it at the moment but does anyone know if the downstairs Huntsman Pub is ever likely to reopen or can we kiss goodbye to that?

The Landmark is my goto hotel in BKK and I’m back there again next week having last been there early December…so I guess the work is still ongoing with the back entrance only in use?

As per today, you can enter at the front like before, but taxis have to stop by the back entrance.

Is it finished? Or is it a big deal for staying over there?

I am considering Landmark due to cheaper price compared to other 5* hotels.

Its still ongoing the last time I was there about a couple months back. You can always call or email and check.

Just checked in to the Landmark and whilst the construction is still going on it does look close to finishing and can’t see it being an issue. It’s the 5th time I’ve stayed here this year and never had a problem.

where is the entrance now? Last time I checked, there was construction all in the front. Can you still get inside from the front entrance?

Yes front entrance is all useable the stairs on the right are blocked off so you just walk up the road

good to know thanks! Are taxis/cars still able to arrive at the front entrance?

I might book Landmark again for my next trip. Great location and fair price. The only negative is that when you enter with a girl, the front desk is quite far away so when you're making your way to the elevator they all have their eyes on you.

Yep no issues with taxis. You can’t come to BKK to pick up girls and be worried about what people think! I actually like the fact the front desk is far away easy to walk straight to the elevators & no need to drop off ID etc

Enter from the floor below where there's only a guard.
