First time in Thailand. Bangkok March 29 to April 2.

I'm looking forward to my Thailand trip. I'll spend 4 nights in Bangkok (Nana Hotel; 03/29 to 04/02) and then 25 days in Pattaya.

Good long trip. Looks like you are going to be in Pattaya for Songkran. Have fun!!

Personally, I'd avoid Pattaya over Songkran. I'm sure the thought of experiencing Songkran is very exciting if you've never done it before, however, in Pattaya they drag it out for a week. All day, all night, piss wet though just becomes tedious. 

If they just stuck to 3 days, and gave the water throwing a break when the sun goes down, like they used to, it'd be so much better.
