achambers
I usually stay "fancy" when I am in town, JW, St. Regis, W, etc. For this upcoming trip I was thinking about looking for a local place (but still nice). I would like to be as in the action as the JW at NEP or the Westin by Soi Cowboy, wondering if any of you have stayed at a local place well appointed and located that you would like to share. dragooner
Arawana Regency Park Sukhumvit is really nice, big, and right in the middle of Soi 22's massage haven. Back in 2019 I used to get the BitStyle ladies to come up since its so close.

briguy
I've stayed at Hotel Icon just down the street from the Marriott on Soi 2. Nice room, decent restaurant and rooftop pool for around $ 50 US on Agoda. I have read that due to construction, you can no longer cut through the Rajah Hotel parking lot to Soi 4, which was very fast.
