March 11, 20233 yr I’ll be in town from May 1-11, and very much looking forward to it. @Zeroat It’s still pretty hot in May, similar temperatures to April. But as May goes on, I think it might start to get a bit more humid. When I visited in late May a few years ago, there were a few heavy rain showers once every few days. Although I’m sure expats living in BKK all year round will be able to give a more definitive answer 😀

But as said above, it still doesn't rain often in May. Even during raining season peak (September), you'll be considered unlucky if it rains all day (it happens 4-5 times per year).

So the last time I visited in May, it was for 7 days and there was one rain shower in that time. A really heavy shower, for about one hour. That was it. I seem to remember sheltering in Hillary 2 😀
