Some Economists Warning of Possible Currency Crisis a la 1997

Talking heads warning we may be entering a perfect storm of strong dollar due to Federal Reserve rate raises, combined with weak euro, pound, and asian currencies, meanwhile possible global recession enticing stimulus packages at exactly the wrong time.  The UK bond market has become unruly, the Euro is beneath $1 and the British pound seems headed there too.  

Be careful what you wish for (for those with $ reserves).  There was an Asian financial crisis in '97 that I am sure some on this board recall.
