michael_walshe Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 anyone have any experience staying here
pasta man Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 Beware the cheaper rooms don’t have windows. Other than that surprise it seemed fine.
pogostick Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 I stayed there several years ago. Small rooms but fairly nice. . I had a window but it was frosted over so I could not see out. At that time they had a decent breakfast included in the price. I'm not sure they offer that now. Very guest friendly. The location is superb. One entrance is right at the BTS stairs. The other entrance takes you right to Bamboo massage and it is about a one minute walk to Lolitas and Kassalong. Soi 8 has some great food and nice chill bars. And you are a short walk to Nana, Soi 11, and Soi Cowboy 1
petehoax Posted September 12, 2022 Posted September 12, 2022 i've stayed there before just for one night and was happy enough with everything. location is great and you can get it (sometimes) for a very low price. i also really like vesuvio's pizza right next door. currently have a december reservation there (but fully refundable, i'll wait and see how prices develop). 1
michael_walshe Posted September 13, 2022 Author Posted September 13, 2022 i was thinking of booking for a few days next year,
Dusk911 Posted January 5, 2025 Posted January 5, 2025 (edited) Booked 4 nights in June I'll have a review after my trip I was deciding between Majestic Suites and On8 decided to try something new and go On8. Approx cost per night was 1425baht booked direct and requested a quiet room with a window on a high floor Edited January 5, 2025 by Dusk911 Added info
Downandup Posted January 9, 2025 Posted January 9, 2025 If you are a smoker then don't book here, when you contact the hotel and ask questions they don't say no but will lie or something like "please ask reception on check in".

Deluxe 23 m² for 1200 but decided bigger could be better. lol
Beer man Posted February 19, 2025 Posted February 19, 2025 I stayed in on8 last year and it’s an ok hotel at a fantastic location. This time I’m staying at lyf hotel just opposite of on8 and I prefer on8 1 1

Great for working not so much for single man adventures.
Mr. Plug Posted June 27, 2025 Posted June 27, 2025 I always stay at On8 for 3-4 days to begin my trip to Thailand. Most recent stay was in March, 2025. I don't think any of the rooms have functional windows. If they have a window it is frosted over like someone else mentioned. I always get the larger room (maybe 30 sqm) as opposed to the smaller one and have always been satisfied. They are pretty basic, but well maintained, with the price reflecting that. They never brought back the breakfast buffet that they used to have pre-covid. Walk out the front door and you have girls sitting in front of you at massage parlors, a pizza place, Bamboo massage, and on the corner of Soi 8 (from the alley) is Viva restaurant and bar. Walk out the back door (via the tailor shop) and you're right at the stairs leading to BTS. 2
Dusk911 Posted July 13, 2025 Posted July 13, 2025 So I finished my stay at on8 In June this is a positive review. The good: Location (near bts) Clean rooms. Reasonable sized bath room. (no bad smells from the pipes) The bad: Little dark, windows blacked out. I did have street noise (I had a friend stay in a cheaper no window room he said he could hear nothing) Price I stayed for about 5600baht for 4 night via Agoda. Would I stay again? Don't know why but I kinda like the Majestic Suite more(its older more warn out but closer to nana.) They are about the same price but maybe if I got a good deal its still good option. 2
