Now I'm there in October.
nnmi Posted August 18, 2022 Posted August 18, 2022 Looking at an flights for a November trip but flight prices are way up from west coast USA.
AzDave$ Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 I'll be in BKK November 13 - 18th. This will be my second trip. Last trip I connected with some board members and we had a great time! I'm hoping to repeat the fun this trip and look forward to connecting with y'all!
nnmi Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 Flights finally booked at quite a steep price but that is just the times we live in. Will be in town Nov 4-17. Still looking at hotel options but for sure around the Sukhumvit area. If any of the board members want to grab a drink let me know. I lost touch with the expats i hung out with during the pandemic.
Ackruu123 Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 I will be in BKK on our about Nov 16 and will stay for three weeks. Staying around Nana.
nnmi Posted September 12, 2022 Posted September 12, 2022 Anyone know of any Thai holidays that might cause disruptions in November. The last time I was in TL I arrive on an election date and all the bars were closed. I recall that the lantern festival was in November but i can't recall if it affected the bars or not. It seems like that will be on Nov 9th. Anyone know if there is any holidays or events to plan ahead for? https://publicholidays.asia/thailand/2022-dates/ 23 Oct Sun Chulalongkorn Memorial Day 24 Oct Mon Chulalongkorn Memorial Day Holiday 5 Dec Mon His Majesty the Late King's Birthday 10 Dec Sat Constitution Day
briguy Posted September 12, 2022 Posted September 12, 2022 As you wrote, there are no public holidays in Thailand in November. While Loy Krathong will be celebrated as you noted on Nov. 9th, this is not a holiday the bars close for.
Rap Chik Posted September 12, 2022 Posted September 12, 2022 Hate to hijack the thread, does it mean few days before and after 23 and 24 Oct are dead/slow days ?
alextsai Posted September 26, 2022 Posted September 26, 2022 i'll be there for the whole month of Nov, flip flopping back and forth between BKK and Pattaya
hky117 Posted September 27, 2022 Posted September 27, 2022 Back Nov 1, 14th trip first since Nov 2019. Looking forward to it.
