The Google Fi experience has been mixed. Mostly okay in Japan, great in Thailand and would not work at all in Vietnam. I got a $12 USD Sim in Vietnam from the Hotel,4GB Data per day and 5G Service. I doubt I will use Google Fi after this trip. The only saving grace was I had to call London from Thailand and the call costs .20 cents a minute. In the future I will just get local SIM cards as I enter a new country.
