May 13, 20197 yr There's a question on the visa form that asks how long I plan to stay in Thailand. I plan to stay about 90 days. How long should I write in the form?
May 14, 20197 yr In USA you must bring travel itinerary as part of the visa application, at least at Chicago Thai Embassy.
January 15, 20206 yr Vientiane consulate had no such requirement- I wrote 90 days, got my visa without any fuss. Varies alot between consulates from what I've heard.
September 18, 20205 yr I have the same question, but would like to know as a U.S. citizen is a 6 month visa possible. My first post on the Bangkok site, I usually am on the Pattaya site, but thought this site might have additional co-vid info. Thanks for any advice for extending beyond 30 days.
September 18, 20205 yr Are you asking about the current situation? Everything has changed now, if you are on the Pattaya forum there are discussions there right now about the new 90 day long term visa, and all the requirements that go with it.
January 17, 20215 yr I received mine not too long ago. I wrote 90 days and it worked fine with no issues.

As far as flight, I always schedule the return flight within the first term of the visa (without renewal) then just change it. With covid airlines are allowing changes without a fee.

July 17, 20224 yr Just went through this coming from the U.S. applying for a single entry. The form asks for your intended arrival and departure dates; mine were exactly 90 days (and my booked itinerary reflected this). It's still processing, so I'll let you know if it goes through or not. Should be any day now.
