  1. The website says it still has the tuk tuk to the BTS and walking doesn't bother me, I'm used to hot countries. My main mongering is going to be going to massage/nuru parlours or getting them to outcall to my room, not really looking to go down the FL or BG route. I also like that it's out of the way in regards to nightlife as I'm not a nightclub/bar scene type. Thanks for the info though, much appreciated
  2. I'll be there for 10 days, forgot that bit lol
  3. Has anybody stayed here at all? I've made a soft booking in one of their Grand One Bedroom Suites at a decent price (~AUD$1600) which comes with a free one way transfer to or from the airport and it's close to Emporium/EmQuartier and Phrom Phong BTS.
  4. I just put "long term serviced apartments Bangkok" into Google and plenty of links pop up. You should be able to find something to fit your budget and location requirements.
  5. Sorry to be a pain but I have the same issue, no "dark mode" option at the bottom either
  6. I am never a fan of hotels that don't have a dedicated website for direct booking. All I can find is third party booking sites and although they have a Facebook page, they only appear to have a Line link and their last Facebook post was July 2022. Looking on maps, it's a sliver building (that's sliver, not silver) with a staircase entrance so not very codusive for large suitcases and there is the possibility of no lifts. On the plus side, it's very central to everything with Nana Plaza just around the corner and the rooms are cheap but simple.
  7. Yeah, just email them and either ask them if they are guest friendly or what their guest policy is. They know why you're asking so they'll be no ambiguity.
  8. I've used Grab in KL, Singapore, Bali and also BKK when I made my first visit in August 2019. Easy app to use and you can update the phone number when you get a local SIM card in whichever country you are visiting. Now that E-SIMS are a thing, you can even have your local number activated and ready to go before you even leave your home for the airport (phone dependent) Best thing about Grab is that it's fixed price, no matter how long it takes to get there and you can choose different levels of drivers/vehicles. I'm quite happy to pay a small surcharge for a 5* driver or luxury vehicle (not available in all countries) Nothing better than a nice model Mercedes or Toyota Vellfire (they were in KL) turning up for your ride 😀
  9. Easiest way is to email them directly and ask if they're guest friendly or, if you're not comfortable asking it that way, just ask what their guest policy is. It won't be like they've ever been asked that before
  10. Yes, you'll need your passport (they'll take a photocopy) and you'll also need an international driving licence (just google where to get one in whichever country you live in) They're relatively easy to get and are valid for 12 months from issue.
  11. AUD$300 for a fast track escort to my accommodation, that's a bargain in my book lol
  12. Easiest thing to do is email them directly and ask them if they are still "guest friendly", that's what I did for a place I was looking at before I picked somewhere else. The hotel replied that yes, they were.
  13. Soi 11 has the Fraser serviced apartments, they come with a full size fridge, kitchen and washing machine. I've booked there for when I visit in August.
