Does Agoda drive anyone else crazy? It seems like the prices for the same room and same dates changes every 10 minutes. I've been using TripAdvisor as an aggregator, but wondering if there are better sites out there to use.

That's terrifying!! Only public transit could have saved you... so much for urban planning

I'm not in LOS yet either. I registered an account with my e-mail address and local number, but will change the phone number and register my credit card once I land in Bangkok. I've read in other forums that this method works fine. Anyhow it'll get sorted once you land.

Thank you! I'll take a look at Khao instead. I was looking at Chope for Jay Fai reservations. I guess they're not taking reservations (rather than being full as I assumed). Regardless, waiting in line sounds like time better spent elsewhere!!

Are there any specific alternative places that you'd recommend? Jay Fai is already booked up for my dates, and I unfortunately won't be in town for long...

How are the clubs lately? I'm assuming nightlife is back up to 100%.

I e-mailed Grab to have them delete the phone number associated with my account, and then created a new account with the same e-mail address. They're pretty responsive.
